Private label is a strategic priority for Bonami, and we are building a strong product layer to support its growth. We are looking for a Product Designer who will take ownership of how our products look, feel, and come together as cohesive collections. This role is not just about design execution. It is about translating trends, ideas, and commercial input into products that make sense – visually, functionally, and commercially. You will work closely with the Head of Private Label and play a key role in shaping the product offering across categories.

Your responsibilities

Product & Design

  • Design products and collections across selected categories
  • Define materials, colors, finishes, and product details
  • Ensure consistency and coherence across collections
  • Translate trends and inspiration into clear product direction

Development & Collaboration

  • Prepare clear briefs for suppliers and product developers
  • Work closely with Product Developer to ensure designs are feasible and scalable
  • Review samples and iterate based on quality, cost, and production constraints
  • Balance aesthetics with practical requirements (cost, materials, manufacturing)

Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Collaborate with Category Management and Marketing to align product direction with customer demand
  • Ensure products fit the overall assortment and commercial goals

What success looks like?

  • Products are visually strong, consistent, and aligned with the brand direction.
  • Collections make sense as a whole, not just as individual SKUs.
  • Designs are feasible to produce and do not create unnecessary complexity.
  • Products perform commercially and resonate with customers.
  • Collaboration with Product Developer and Head of Private Label is smooth and effective.

You are perfect for this role if you

  • Have experience in product design within home & living, furniture, or accessories.
  • Understand how to design products that are both visually appealing and commercially viable.
  • Have a strong sense of materials, colors, and product details.
  • Can translate trends into clear and structured product concepts.
  • Are able to work within constraints (cost, production, timelines).
  • Are comfortable collaborating with multiple stakeholders.
  • Have strong communication skills in English.

This role may not be a good fit if

  • You are focused purely on creative expression without considering commercial reality.
  • You are not comfortable adapting designs based on production or cost constraints.
  • You prefer working independently without cross-functional collaboration.

What we offer

  • The opportunity to shape real products that go to market.
  • Direct impact on how private label looks and feels.
  • Close collaboration with decision-makers and product owners.
  • A clear role within a growing private label team.
  • A direct and pragmatic environment without unnecessary bureaucracy.
