About this role:
ShipMonk is looking for a highly skilled Senior Graphic Designer to join our dynamic creative team. In this role, you will be the right hand of the Creative Director, helping to bring our brand’s creative vision to life. You will oversee the design process from concept to execution, providing strategic guidance and mentorship for junior designers. Working closely with the Creative Director, marketing team, and cross-functional teams, you will develop high-quality visuals that drive our brand identity across digital and print platforms. This position demands a strategic thinker with strong design skills, the ability to mentor junior designers, and a keen eye for detail to ensure that every project reflects ShipMonk’s brand values and goals.
Responsibilities: What Will You Be Doing?
Lead design projects: Take ownership of complex design projects from start to finish, providing clear direction and ensuring alignment with ShipMonk’s brand guidelines and marketing objectives.
Mentor junior designers: Guide and mentor the design team, providing constructive feedback and supporting their professional growth.
Collaborate with teams: Work closely with marketing, product, and development teams to create integrated design solutions that support strategic business objectives.
Maintain brand consistency: Uphold and evolve ShipMonk’s brand identity across all visual communications, ensuring a unified look and feel.
Creative direction: Lead brainstorming sessions and contribute innovative ideas for design solutions that elevate our marketing and branding efforts.
Quality control: Review design work for accuracy, consistency, and quality, ensuring final designs meet high standards of execution.
Stay ahead of trends: Keep up-to-date with the latest design trends, tools, and technologies to continually push the boundaries of design excellence at ShipMonk.
Time management and leadership: Effectively manage multiple design projects, ensuring deadlines are met and the team operates efficiently.
