At GLAMI, we are changing the online shopping experience across Europe! We are a fashion discovery search engine connecting millions of users with brands and e-retailers, in 13 markets in the EU. We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented (Senior) Data Analyst to join our Monetisation/BI team!
🏋️♀️THE CHALLENGE…
In this role, you will ensure the integrity and flow of our data, oversee complex data structures, and provide key insights to help optimise our monetisation strategies. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate tracking and reporting, addressing data discrepancies, and building dashboards to empower stakeholders across the company. You will also play a critical role in preparing for the potential deprecation of third-party cookies and contributing to our BI reporting using Keboola, Tableau, Holistics and other tools.
📈AND THE MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES…
- Tracking & data integrity
- Manage tracking efforts using GA4 and other tools, ensuring data consistency and accuracy across platforms.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve data discrepancies, always striving to get to the root cause of issues.
- Conduct regular audits of data flows and automate checks to maintain accuracy.
- Document processes and workflows related to tracking and data management for internal transparency and knowledge sharing.
- Business intelligence (BI) & reporting:
- Build and maintain insightful dashboards and reports using tools such as Tableau and Holistics to provide stakeholders with actionable data.
- Support the transition process in response to the potential sunset of third-party cookies, ensuring continuity in data collection and reporting.
- Collaborate with teams across the company (Marketing, Product, Market Development) to help them interpret and leverage data in decision-making.
- Data flow & ETL management:
- Oversee complex data flow structures, ensuring smooth and reliable data movement across multiple systems.
- Work with ETL platforms like Keboola to extract, transform, and load data into centralised databases for analysis.
- Ensure the stability and efficiency of data pipelines and optimize them to meet evolving business needs.
- Stakeholder collaboration & training:
- Lead internal training sessions on best practices for using GA4, BI tools, and data management techniques.
- Act as a point of contact for data-related queries from different teams, helping them understand and utilise available data.
- Promote a data-driven culture by encouraging data awareness and adoption of best practices across the company.
✅ REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE…
- Experience managing extensive and complex data structures, with a focus on maintaining data accuracy.
- 3+ years of experience working with SQL and Tableau, with a strong ability to query data and build dashboards.
- Hands-on experience with ETL platforms such as Keboola, with the ability to manage and optimise data pipelines.
- Strong attention to detail in identifying and resolving data inconsistencies.
- Proven ability to investigate and address root causes of data-related issues.
- Previous experience with e-commerce data and conversion tracking is a significant plus.
- Some programming experience (e.g., Python, R, or JavaScript) is preferred.
- Familiarity with GA4, BigQuery, and knowledge of emerging data privacy trends (e.g., the deprecation of third-party cookies).
- Demonstrated ability to solve complex technical problems and optimize processes.
- Ability to manage complex projects autonomously.
- Ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Prior experience in e-commerce, monetization, or Ad-Tech environments is preferred.
