The application ALFRED (Asset, Liability, Finance, Risk and Entity Data) is a data platform for Finance & Risk at NN. ALFRED is the data backbone of the financial reporting chain, and processes large amounts of data on a daily basis. The scope of ALFRED keeps extending, with more sources being connected and more reports being built on ALFRED. ALFRED is running on Azure and is built by the ALFRED team with native Azure components such as Data Factory, Databricks and Power BI.

About the Team
The ALFRED team is looking for Security & Compliance Consultant. The current Security & Compliance Consultant in the team has moved to a different position in NN and the team is looking for someone who can step in to take over the role.
The ALFRED team is a large team with 30+ people. The team is divided in 6 Squads, with each Squad focusing on specific topics.
What will you do
The main responsibility of the Security & Compliance Consultant is maintaining the IT Security controls (‘IT General Controls’) for ALFRED. The application ALFRED is an important part of the financial reporting chain at NN and requires strong IT security. Through the implementation of 20+ IT controls the strict security requirements are maintained. The IT Security controls are diverse, for example: Identity & Access Management, Platform Security, Continuity Management, Asset Management and Information Management. Each quarter the effectiveness of the IT Security controls needs to be proven. Next to this, because the application ALFRED is constantly changed and updated, the IT Security controls also need to be reviewed and updated if required.
What we are looking for
Experience with and knowledge of IT Security and IT Security controls
- Experience with IT change management
- Experience in working with Agile/Scrum/DevOps
- English language skills, both written and verbal
- Good communication skills
- A pro-active and positive mindset
- Preferably experience with: ServiceNow, Azure DevOps, Azure, Active Directory
