The Junior Operational Purchaser is responsible for the planning and inventory management, which supports the whole organization, as well as enables the availability of goods for the different warehouses.
This role has the responsibility for inventory planning, ordering of goods, follow up of supplier delivery performance as well as optimization of inventory cost. The Junior Operational Purchaser is also in charge of the reconciliation and approval of freight forwarding-, warehousing- and inbound shipping invoices from suppliers, on top of the cost of goods invoices.
DAILY TASKS INCLUDE:
- Plan and monitor stock levels
- Purchase Order Management
- Management of the inbound deliveries
- Invoice approvals
- Support in various logistics processes
REQUIREMENTS:
- 1-2 years experience of purchasing/planning (supply chain)
- Fluent in English, spoken and written (the full team)
- Experience working with ERP systems – specifically inventory and purchasing modules
- Experience of IFS is meritorious
