Are you a financial expert with a keen eye for optimizing business performance? We are seeking a talented and motivated Financial Controller to join our team at KONE. As a financial controller, you will play a crucial role in driving the financial health and success of our great organization.
IN THIS POSITION YOU GET TO:
- Collaborate closely with the Finance Manager, Chief Accountant, and Business Controller on various financial topics to ensure healthy financial practices and improve balance sheet metrics.
- Perform month-end closing activities, prepare reporting packages and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Prepare the company´s financial and tax statements in cooperation with an external company (outsourced process).
- Manage and complete external financial audits for the period in scope.
- Fixed cost management, enhance the fixed cost reporting, proper forecasting and participate in the Fixed costs committee.
- Prepare various ad-hoc analyses to support the strategic development of the company.
- Cooperate with colleagues on regional (Eastern Europe and Mediterranean) and global levels.
TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE, YOU SHOULD HAVE:
- Can-do mindset and solution-oriented approach.
- Ability to collaborate within the team and build relationships.
- Excellent technical skills, MS Excel proficiency, and experience with SAP is an advantage.
- Knowledge of accounting standards and tax regulation.
- Be ready to communicate in English on daily basis.
- Previous experience in accounting, controlling, or audit.
